Pro or not?
For me what better day to show up the hypocrisy of our leaders?

Not pro for the type of march that I think you are writing about. I am not going to argue the pros and cons here. I am vocal elsewhere.

Calling for a ceasefire on the day we commemorate a major ceasefire? I'm in favour.

I believe it is entirely appropriate.

Strange how our government is against that march on the 11th, but there is no comment from them today about the National Front doing their yearly march past the Cenotaph earlier today.
It seems that those that want a peace march are not wanted, but fascist, racist, anti semitic, Hitler supporting thugs are allowed!

Tie this in with Braverman comments regarding tents and the slippery slope looms into view.

What about having a march in March at 3:33pm?
Nobody should be forced to live in a tent but what is happening to all the money collected in taxes? Why isn't more of it going to prevent homelessness and starvation in our own country, let alone in the World as a whole. War is bad at any time but when there are still so many who have so little, it's obscene

Perhaps Ms Braverman would do well to look at Gaza and see the effects of mass homelessness...are the Government sending tents there?

Precisely. How hypocritical is it to solemnly parade pseud gravitas at the cenotaph, whilst making a mint selling arms to areas supporting war and destruction? For the Government, war is esssential to fill their coffers and those they support. How many coffins = bonuses for the boys?

We were in London yesterday for a visit to the Photographers Gallery and the 'New' Portrait Gallery and there was a large assembly at Oxford Circus and later at Trafalgar Square. Very vocal but quite well controlled. I am in favour of protests including ones that I don't support but like football matches they will always attract an 'unruly' element just because of the opportunity and they might even lead to beneficial changes. Wife and I were part of a large march in 2017 calling for an increase in young doctors and nurses pay due to falling recruitment and look how successful that was..
