Who is the artist? Is their work still accessible? I only buy art that I like and never sell to make a profit. But it would be nice to think that if I pick right then my extended family might make a bomb after I have left this place.

He sells through some galleries but we contacted him through Instagram after seeing some of his work in a gallery in Devon but he sells in others and obviously direct. www.markethousegallery.co.uk/artists/david-johnson/ www.redpropeller.co.uk/david-v-johnson

I was more interested in the medusa bust than the wall art. It's brilliant.

Thanks. I was more interested in the medusa bust than the wall art. It's brilliant. The artist for that is Helen Nottage.

It's always nice to meet the artist being the creation. We've been visiting an artist in Cornwall for over 20 years, he had started out doing one particular kind of picture, which we both liked, but he has since been to college and expanded his repertoire into what some may call more mainstream. We still pop in and say hello. My Son in Law says that customers really like talking to him about the photos and where he took them, he sells far more doing his own exhibition than just putting them in a gallery. It’s the personal touch of speaking with the photographer who took them.
