So, at least one person in the First Views thread will be pleased by what's happening here. I disagree, it was one of the more interesting looking office blocks in the area.
Be that as it may, the amount of space around the building is very limited - about a yard on two sides and the width of a big skip on the visible ones, with a right big skip in each. Strikes me as doing demolition work in such a confined space is a bit risky. Any H&S bods here got an opinion?

Impossible to say without familiarity of the specific site, tasks and RAMS.

Impossible to say without familiarity of the specific site, tasks and RAMS. If you were about to closely walk past then would you cross to the other side of the street?

They don't seem to have done much work over the last few days. Anyhoo, here's a couple more small pics to give more an idea of the site...
Oh, and I saw this in the street a couple of hundred yards away...

Not content with a digger and two big skips in such a confined space, they added a second digger and a third skip:
Though, after a couple of weeks, it had the desired effect:
Three shots merged in Elements, covering a bit under 90 degrees.

For some reason, they have blocked off the gates with plastic. Fed up of people watching them work? Panoramic view by SteveH, on Flickr Two shot pano.

When a building down the road from my office was demolished the insulation 'beans' (basically beanbag filler) blew in the wind and went EVERYWHERE.
