Works for me though if the dark band at the top is post production it might be bit on the heavy side.

The dark band is a stylistic choice, to "hold the image in". Thankfully, it wasn't too bad a day, although I was at the top of the hill on the right, that morning and the wind was blowing my umbrella closed on itself.

I like the detail in the cliffs. Have you thought about cropping the image to lose the left hand side to where the cliffs meet the sea?

I like it, although I agree with others, whilst I don't mind the darkness at the top, it should be dialled back a bit.

I can see where you are coming from, but I like the way it tapers off to the islands in the background. I think viewing images like these on my phone doesnt do them justice. I reckon on a larger scale the details will shine through much better. But on a whole I like it, it feels like it captures the mood of being there, and I don't mind the dark at the top.
