231021-JB-Duchess Woods-026 by Kath Polley, on Flickr We all agreed that the storms from the other week must have taken most of the lovely orange yellow leaves down because most trees seemed to be either bare or still green. We found ourselves gleefully pointing out any examples of yellow/gold/orange/red that wasn't already on the floor.

231022-steam window car lights clyde by Kath Polley, on Flickr Taken earlier this evening from my studio window. It occurred to me that autumn is definitely when I start to notice the shorter days and the opportunities for photographing electric lights.
