Apologies if someone has already done this, I am still getting used to this forum.
After 3 years of lockdowns and bad news, hopefully 2023 will see an improvement.

To all of you, merry Christmas. I'm separated from my wife, but will have the kids over the holiday so looking forward to that. All prepped with a 12-pound ham waiting for us. Joy comes from what we hold in our hearts, so truly wishing you a joyful 2023.
Edit: Good grief. I just recognized that using the word "separated" above implies a connotation, at least here in the US if not in UK. We're separated over the holidays since her parents live in another part of the country, but we're not "separated" in the more dramatic slang meaning of that word. Sorry 'bout that. Hopefully I'll up the precision of my writing in 2023!
