Probably reduce the Gammon population at a stroke. Or even cardiac arrest... Either way it is more room for immigrants so win win really.

Appologies for my part in hijacking this thread. To compensate in some little way:- Info. I am told the castle and sea rock background are most likley Tantallon Castle (seat of the red Douglases) and the Bass Rock (nesting place for the largest colony of norther gannets). W

Layton and Nigel were outstanding. Strong performances from Amanda and Annabel. The less said about Les Dennis the better, truly awful. It has the makings of a good series.

I will be watching last night's show on catch up tonight - I *may* also watch the results show but probably not. Do I need to steer clear of this thread for fear of spoilers later? (I mean, I can...I don't want to stop people discussing it if it's been a good episode!)

I feel sorry for Les Dennis. I rather suspect that I would look much as he does if I tried.

Les Dennis comes into the Oxfam shop that my wife works in with donations every so often. Will have to get her to look out for his sequinned clothes in the future!

I still find it bizarre that the BBC treat us like infants and pretend the results show is live on a Sunday, when it's recorded Saturday night. I quite often watch the Saturday show on a Sunday if my wife has been working a late shift anyway.

It's not like there's anyone left who thinks they're watching live TV on the Sunday and yet they keep up the pretence!
