Yup, it's back. I'll save some of you some typing because I genuinely don't care if you don't watch it, haven't watched television since Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, etc. The thread title is explicit about the content, so why are you here?
For those that do enjoy it, what are your initial thoughts? I reckon Angela Scanlon, Eddie Kadi, Annabel Croft, and the fit bird off of Love Island will do well based on what we saw in the group routine. Krishnan Guru-Murthy or the disabled cyclist/swimmer to go out first.

I find the program remarkable, especially in the later rounds after the no-hopers have been eliminated, specifically just how good the never-before-dancers get. I missed the start. I have no idea who is in it and the names above mean nothing to me.

I admit I've never seen it or had any interest in it. However, the trailers full of orange people suggest to me that they are perfectly described as 'Striving for mediocrity and often over-achieving'. Enjoy the series, but consider what else the BBC might do with the money they obviously spend on it.

Have more Match of the Day, cookery shows, antique shows, gardening shows, quiz shows, One Shows...

To me it all seems a bit 'bread and circuses', which probably explains why it is so popular and on at a peak time on a weekend evening.

How will I get by?!

Last year the top 3 most viewed TV broadcasts were the Queen's funeral, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and Strictly Come Dancing. What do you want, the BBC to fund more royal deaths? (Don't answer that Zou!)

(Don't answer that Zou!) I didn't say this but the programme in the middle could be improved by Bush Tucker to the death challenges...
