That reminds me that a portrait of Jomo Kenyatta hanged in every school classroom and every public building in Kenya at the time that I worked there. As African presidents go he wasn't a bad chap. Sadly his wife was up to her neck in ivory smuggling. |

Reminds me that in (I think the 70s) a Scottish engineer working in an african country referred to the countries' president as "the Gaffer" which of course sounds like ... ok your ahead of me. UK diplomatic intervention got him out of jail on the condition he was got out of the country never to return. |

I have never liked the bloke nor who he’s married to I assume from that you are referring to KC3 or is it 4,and his former mistress, whatever . The older sprog, wife and children (apart from the youngest annoying brat) are shaping up nicely to carry on the firm. We could do far worse. I support them.
The alternatives to a limited monarchy and elected parliament are far worse.
