I'm really not bothered. When I've gone, I've gone. Those of us who are left on the forum will miss you...so will those on the right Haha!

You had better agree, 'cos that's where he's going. grave 1 by Steve Ashton, on Flickr He wanted a "natural burial", so wicker coffin and no religion It's going to be where the brash is between the trees. S ps where do you lot want to go? I want a platform on a high pole for the view, but Bonnie says no, I'd drip on people. Looks lovely. Bit west of Bala. Very little for miles. S

I've always joked that I'd like a full on Viking funeral on the river Clyde with a tannoy set up at the end of the pier so that Arthur Brown's 'Fire' could belt out at volume. I can't see it happening somehow. I'll settle for no funeral as such, just get my ashes in a can and tip them off the end of the pier with everyone munching fish and chips as I blow back in their faces.

Neither of us want a funeral. We just want a cremation with no service or mourners and followed by a wake at a later date.
We certainly don’t want anything religious based and even humanist types of services in crematoriums are a bit naff.

It was a perfect way to remember her, miss her, laugh and cry together, with no standing on ceremony, no doctrine, just people who loved her, planting trees, picking apples, drinking wine round a fire into the night. Perfect. I don't own an old Somerset farm with orchards and barns so everyone will just have to cram into our communal garden and hover around the BBQ instead. It'll be lovely.
