Including a half size replica of the Golden Hind (unless of course, sailors were half the size and stature of the rest of the population...

If they are into photography Mifsuds is worth a visit although it must be 20 years since I bought my medium format film kit there.

Open Mon & Sat 10am – 2pm & Tues to Fri 10am 4pm Edit- it's a couple of years since we went down, but they were open Sunday 10-2 I think, but closed one day in the week. Amazing how the independents are able to carry on. Always reminded me of a very clean and very tidy version of Nicholas cameras...

Including a half size replica of the Golden Hind (unless of course, sailors were half the size and stature of the rest of the population... View Attachment There is a Golden Hind docked in London very close to Borough Market, as far as I know it is full size and tiny so I would not be surprised if the one in Brixham is indeed full size. When we went on it the kids were 10 and 13 at a guess, they had no problems with walking around below deck but at 6 ft I found it a little low.

Low tide April 2008 (obviously the last time I was there). I don't think that I even noticed that it was out of the ordinary - it doesn't stand out like it does in your picture IMG_0168.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

According to goldenhind.co.uk/ it's a full size, five deck replica. Still too cramped for my liking

I was on that one when it visited Northern Ireland many years ago. I think I was about 11 and still managed to bump my head when below deck.
