A few years ago, one of my nephews told me about a workmate who had a camera he was going to dump. I told him I would have it. This is what I got... A Konica Autoreflex TC, with a standard lens, a macro lens with 1:1 adapter, and two zoom lenses. None of the kit showed signs of use. I had to replace the mirror buffer in the camera, and the meter was a bit iffy - evidently a known problem with these. I later found Makinon 35mm and 200mm lenses in AR mount for not much at a Salvation Army shop.

Good one, John. I've had a few Konica lenses (albeit, primes), and IME, Konica have produced some very nice lenses.
Since you got these for nowt, they'll probably be very, VERY nice lenses.

Well, I cheerfully killed 20 minutes or so in the Oxford branch of LCE chatting film cameras with the guy in there - at £199.99 the Topcon RE Super was a bit much for my posket but boy, is it a sexy beast!

Nope, must give Ed a poke - possibly once I pay my credit card bill!

Ed reckoned 4-6 weeks for the Contax, and the same price he quoted me back in Jan-Feb. Whether that's 4-6 weeks from now or it reaching the top of the stack remains to be seen.
