Great to have a new board to while away the hours on but the registration process seems like overkill. I got board during the filling in . It’s a sign of the times all that form filling, at least it gave me something to moan about on my very first post  Don |

Proboards runs lots of forums, so they need to manage many thousands of new user requests without allowing even more spam accounts in.

I already have accounts at two other Proboard forums - it uses your stored password then.

I'm registered and active on anther one (for over 6 years) and I still can't log into this one on my mobile phone browser. It's OK on my desktop PC at home though |

Have you tried switching to desktop view to log in on your phone, then switching to mobile version? |

I am using my iPad and must say the whole board seems slow and cumbersome. I will get used to it but I can imagine some people quitting because of the overkill in doing anything. Still I never come on here to moan. I have actually forgotten the reason for posting so until I can wake my brain cell up I’ll log off.

The only thing I find tricky is multiple stacked quotes, where the forum software appears to struggle. As many others have done before it... For the rest, seems simple to log in on multiple devices. I did have some issues trying to sign up on the phone, because my phone capitalised the first letter of my email address which the software wouldn't accept. Having resolved that, easy peasy. |

I find it less than ideal with attached images. An older version did allow full size inserts (on my other proboards forum) but that changed about a year ago. Not a major complaint, it doesn't reduce the value for money  Already being a member of one of their other forums meant the form filling for me was much reduced over any other forum I've joined!  |

Don't whinge, please. As for losing a few minutes never to be got back; A week in an induced coma after a VF event was that. I'm not complaining 'cos I'm still able to be alive.

I am one of the lucky <10% to survive. Not funny but dangerous.I edited an error in my earlier post. The event was VF not VR.
