I discovered I had a Flickr account from 2005 and managed to resurrect it. This was 7 years years before I even considered photography as a hobby and I just used it to share fishing pics. That's my two sons in the photo, one is a now a 30 year old, the other 27. D M Bridge by Martin Bone, on Flickr

Taken on a Polaroid camera when I visited Toronto in 1975 aged 12. I only had about 30 shots or so to last the three weeks I was there, I had to make each one count! Attachment Deleted

Attachment DeletedThis was a scan made earlier in the year from a disc camera film, so I would have been maybe 8 years old I think. Those negs were TINY!

The first camera I owned was an Agfa Isomat Rapid - 24mm x 24mm negatives. Here's a shot, from 1969. Attachment Deleted

Someone should make a new 24x24 compact with a nice fixed lens, slightly wide, zone focus. It wouldn't sell but I'd have one.

Agfa Rapid cameras are still about, and not expensive. With a bit of hunting you can find the cassettes - you'd need 2 of them. A lug on the cassette sets the film speed on the meter (if the camera had one). The original Agfa film supposedly had a reinforced leader, to make feeding the film to the takeup cassette easy, but I used to reload them with film taken from an Ilford 36 exposure cassette, and the camera worked fine. My original Agfa rapid camera is long gone, but I have two, and a number of cassettes, stashed away.

Wonderful pictures Pete, I think that I have seen other Dufaycolor pictures that you (?) have posted elsewhere, a process we learned about at collage but I think you are the only person I know (virtually) that has experience of using it. Thanks for posting.
