Not a subject where I have a shot thats a great fit. One that springs to mind is this scene where the grid girl on the right was wearing red ankle boots (but having shot it in IR the colour has changed dramatically) BTTC grid in IR by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

Red shoes. ap footwear red shoes 2 by Kate Ferris, on Flickr There is a tale still believed by many that if someone steps onto Lewis wearing red shoes, it will sink. (The Brahan seer prophesised that the Isle of Lewis would sink if a nun (?) wearing red shoes set foot on the isle). This became a bit worrying when a ferry we had was actually called The Isle of Lewis (shows how enthusiastic we were when asked to name CalMac's (then) latest ferry). I have to say I did travel on that bucket (I think that's how it was described) in red shoes, but we made it across the Minch with only the usual bangs and wallops from the so-called stabilizers. ap footwear red shoes by Kate Ferris, on Flickr
