We’ve not been for a few years. Last time was when my American brother in law was over from the US in 2018/19 ish. He was amazed, firstly that my house was built in 1777 then visiting there. Considering the US is only a few years old, lol.

Flickr seems to be giving me images and no longer a black screen on the photo page. So a bit late, here is the other side of Little Moreton Hall. If Flickr had worked for me earlier I would have pasted it as an edit in the first post but that is history! This has been shown on APForum - if I remember correctly the theme was stripes and this is the best striped lawn cut that I have. IMG_0002.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Flickr is doing it again - I just get a blank page. So discarding that, the first of two I uploeaded just now seems OK. Speke Hall is another National Trust property with Tudor links. I'm a bit surprised that I have few digital pictures of it because I certainly have a lot on film. I'm missing the close up of the obviously Tudor front. This is an oblique view of the rear. The picture I am struggling to display in Flickr is also an oblique view of the rear taken from the opposite side of the house to this. Slightly different. It comes up in the list of National Trust places having Tudor connections. It is sixteenth century, birthplace of Bishop William Morgan who produced the first printed bible in the Welsh language in 1588 as Elizabeth 1st came to the throne. I have posted this picture before - possibly on this (new) forum. Ty Mawr Wybrnant IMG_0022.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Probably as close as I will get to iridescent. I'll think on it. Flickr broken again and not generating links - I'll revisit and edit this later Edit: + a few minutes and we have what looks like a valid link DSCF4555.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
