I never thought of it as landscape but woodland/forest photos are possibly so. I ought to revisit the pictures taken when I was living in Brussels (long time ago). The tree-lined avenues through the forest could well be considered vertical landscapes. One or two have been shown before in APForum but this one I doubt. IMG_0012.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I was trying to find the tree-lined avenue in LR and came across another IMG_0012 which could be considered an urban (or at least man made landscape). it is [apparently] in Ottowa. IMG_0012.jpg by Pete, on Flickr amazing what can be done with a Canon G10 - wildly held [at the time] to be the worse of the G series. I didn't know - it was small enough to carry when I was travelling on business.

Can't see the landscape for the trees. And those are fab trees, I want to do the Everglades on a fan boat one day, the closest I have got is growing Spanish Moss in my pear tree.

A short distance past where this picture was take is an old cemetery. Its a really eerie place. I would not want to go there at night. Terry

230609-First_Views-003 by Kath Polley, on Flickr When I think of 'traditional' landscapes, I think of chocolate boxes and other touristy things. I was thinking the other day that the one group of people our local council really don't seem to care much about is the tourists. I mean, this is the first sight they get of our seafront. We're all eagerly (not) waiting to see what abomination will be put in the gravelly area in front of the new swimming pool and praying it isnt' worse than the new swimming pool.
