I have a feeling that I processed some bird pictures for a previous "high key" theme on AP Forum but I can't find anything on Flickr, it was a bad idea to strip all Exif from those photos. I'll have to turn the computer on (off from last night's thunderstorm), Not truly high key but quite a lot of white. Ellesmere in the snow by Pete, on Flickr

Tx. It's ancient- should be reprocessed! Remember this one? Almost high key - but also almost an alternate landscape. litter bin IMG_0002.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I have lots of high key snow stuff, mostly in mono. This is probably my favourite, you'll have seen it before, of my girls many years ago. I can't believe it will be 8 years on Wednesday since we lost Hannah. sledging by Nigel G, on Flickr

One I took a couple of days ago. it was on the window surround, which the black line is part of. Decided to keep the line in. Not sure though. In fact on the white background of the forum, the photo blends into that, so that line now looks incredibly odd. On a black background it doesn't look so strange Moth by Nigel G, on Flickr

Shows the importance of mount colour for prints.

Mount colours and frames have been long a source of irritation if not anger when I see prints in exhibitions and galleries. Also the standardisation demanded of some galleries when submitting work. To me, the ubiquitous black frame is often the worst thing for killing my appreciation of an artwork. I've always considered those things as much a part of the art as what's inside the frame. OK, my personal hang-up, but there we are.
