Egyptian geese, not sure which of the two is the winger! From my early days of bird photography, I haven't improved. BV9R0017.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Must have been the day before my stroke. Trying to pan with the XH2s with an 100-400 attached. These do move pretty quickly. Redshank, redshank, knot, redshank DSCF1386.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Pink footed geese coming into land. I thought that I had some Geese in echelon photos but if I have then I haven't keyworded them. Probably I just watched them fly over. BV9R0029.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I've absolutely no idea. I can say that it was taken in the Aero museum in Brussels in 2009. I'm posting it because it is all wing. Those early days of flight must have been for the truly insane - but the implication is that there was room for a passenger also. IMG_0010.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

It was actually more or less size of an 10 yo child. Taken from across the Thames at eel pie island infamous haunt of rock stars back in the 70's. The pic does kind of make scale difficult to assess, also taken at a fair distance probably with something like a 200. Not sure it's still there ? Tried to find it again on a recent walk with the club but didn't see it
