Yes, she really did. I am no angel and have had three speeding offences to my name in over 55 years motoring. Pay up. shut up. I thought that the Arch Bish of Cantab handled his offence better. Silly Braverman. Braverman's offence was certain to get publicity. She should have just fessed up. She could have just been a Clarkson type laddette and got street cred for it. Instead of that she's destroyed her career.

Hmmm, I recall a few months back reading that she had allegedly enquired of her team whether her fine could be claimed on expenses, so the actual offence seems to have been in the public domain for longer than the current news cycle. I can have some sympathy with the alleged security concerns of training in a group, but odd to ask the civil service for help rather than the relevant agency directly.
On the grand scale of terrible things Suella de Vil has done whilst in office this certainly appears to be the most innocuous.

Instead of that she's destroyed her career. [/div][/quote] Doubt it. Rishi gave her a top job despite her resigning after breaching the ministerial code. It'll be a badge of homour for people who support the corrupt cesspit that the tory party is.

I have never made a financial contribution to any political party. That is the prerogative of criminals.

I won't miss her. I'd have taken the points for her for a PPE contract though .

I won't miss her. I'd have taken the points for her for a PPE contract though . That would be illegal.

Perhaps she should have not been driving too fast ...

She should have been stopping the cars, not the boats.

In all fairness it would be disappointing if they didn't default to the "do you know who I am" approach under such circumstances.
