Just escaped a busker on Princes Street butchering 'Imagine'. Sean just can't catch a break... The moment I saw him, I screamed "Oh no!"

I have time travelled and gone back to when I was 16. I was at this very early gig by Depeche Mode in a club in Manchester. Listening to it, I can see the gig. There weren't a huge number of us there!

Mary Lou Williams C jam blues; Willie might like Tony Kinsey's solo folowed by a chase chorus with the sax.

Jan Akkerman playing a Lute
Far from a perfect performance but still well worth listening to and it is a virtuoso piece - well beyond me.

Decided to play some of my vinyl this morning. I played a bootleg album from 1980. I better be careful as it is quite rare and there is one for sale for £100 at the mo, but very rarely comes up apparently. Another bootleg I also played is 1 of 400 pressings and that also fetches a decent price. Perhaps I ought to go through my collection and see what else is worth a few quid, although I am unlikely to sell anything.
