Haven't heard her for a long time. Lovely stuff and a great ivory tickler! Quite a few by her on Youtube

Ralph Towner. He writes stuff that those of us who fart about with classical guitar sort of imagine we could write - but of course we cannot.

I've still got the LP somewhere and on iTunes
Doubt if many today could understand half of the words.

Something with too much recitative on R3 while browsing the interweb. Its a bit Handelian and slightly familiar but I can't name it. Its not worth the bother of looking it up on Sounds.

Radio 2's Piano Room sessions with the BBC concert orchestra. I particularly recommend Beverley Knight. Available on the BBC sounds app or iPlayer.

A performance of a work called "as slow as possible". It's supposed to last over 600 years and has a chord change every couple of years. Same composer as 4'33"

I don't listen to much from this period, but just love Annie Haslam's voice

Karmana. Simon Thacker classical guitar and Ms Jablonska Cello.
I made Simon's first handmade guitar which saw him through his higher music education years and beyond. The only time I heard him play it I nearly shat myself untill I realised the Bartok piece was ppp all the way through and I could nevertheless hear every note. At first I thought the guitar was not projecting.

Sat in Terminal 1 of Mumbai airport. It is only small but like the rest of India it is noisy and bustling with about a million people, so sat here with my noise cancelling headphones listening to Automatic For The People by REM and it is bliss just watching the people without hearing them
EDIT. TF for my headphones. I’m not listening to the 2 kids behind me and the babe in arms on the opposite row over the aisle on this 2 hour flight.
Edited edit. Now sat waiting to leave the gate which should’ve been 20 mins ago. Now moved onto Replicas by Tubeway Army. I’m close to snapping the kid behind me in half , kicking and pushing the back of my seat. If the door plug falls off this plane I’ll reach round and undo its seatbelt.
