Going through my late Uncle's army service photos I found this gem. He served in the RASC/RCT for 12 years and was assigned to the Gurkhas during the Malayan emergency. Very kindly he indexed the album, but there's no details for this one. As he's wearing his lance-corporal stripe it probably dates from the mid 1950s. Oh wow, rabbits by the Anderson shelter, that's a period piece! Yes indeed. Apparently he wasn't much older than this when he developed an interest in explosives and when the rabbits died off he blew up the hutches!
