Very nice, really like the ones in the bottle/jug/planter. Will make beautiful cards. Just one thing... They aren't thistles, they're Eryngium (Sea Holly). They look like Thistles, but a completely different family

They look like Thistles, but a completely different family Thank you - and yes, I'm aware that they're not the real deal but at this time of year they were the closest I could get. I'm hoping there are no botanists in our group. Although one did zoology and if anyone's going to pick holes in them it will be her!

I mean, if we're going to be really picky, the 'English' rose should be red AND white. Close approximations are just going to have to do!!!!

Rosa Mundi, a sport of the original rose Rosa Gallica, sometimes claimed to be a cross of the York and Lancs roses
Ferdinand Pichard dates from late 1800s, had one by the front door before moving to this flat, beautiful scent too.
Calypso, a climber, probably a bit on the pink side, (known in the USA as strawberies and cream)
