Show us the last picture you printed. Straightforward enough to not have to explain, you'd hope! But anyway, let's see them, and share the story of the picture and why it's been printed, where's it going etc.

Two from the abstract comp. These were last-minute jobs, I'd done four others as .jpgs which were more to the point, to my mind, and these were just to bulk up the print section of the comp. Anyway, I think I can see myself going in this direction rather than doing landscapes or wildlife for ever

Attachment DeletedThis picture is my wife's extended family, in the late 1940s, on holiday near Queenstown in New Zealand. It was printed to go in a photo album (yes, we still have them). I don't know the camera used. My wife's father took the picture.

I printed quite a few in my last batch of printing (for a club exhibition) I'm not sure if this was actually the last of them, but it was certainly one of the latter ones as I printed it in A3 as well as A4 Attachment Deleted

My favourite photo of the year as posted in the other thread. I have just ordered it in a 120x80 cm premium acrylic. The colours should look really good in that format. Becky 2 by Nigel G, on Flickr

I recently ordered two CEWE A2 calendars, so had twenty six images printed at the same time (one per month plus a cover picture). These are two of them (the resizing of the tree shot appears to make it look soft, but the original is sharp). Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Printed this yesterday to give to our next door neighbour. Heron and Crows IMG_0714HCedit by Keith Hudson, on Flickr The story is: Late November I get a phone call from next door, I knew she was about to go into hospital for a knee operation in the next week or so and sort of panicked was she ok, what had happened? She was fine but had seen a 'Pelican getting attacked by crows' was I at home and could I take some pictures? Now we don't have pelicans in SE London but we do have Herons. It was getting dark and the pictures were nothing special but I posted a few on FB and she was happy. Move on to yesterday and I am doing some archiving including the heron pictures, seeing them again I thought high contrast pseudo Japanese art. The above is what I came up with so I ran off a couple of 7.5 x 5 inch prints on A4 and took one around for her. She was over the moon with it instructing her husband on exactly which frame he should put it in, well worth a couple of sheets of paper.

I was a bit worried that at 120x80 cm would have been a bit big. It is big, no doubt about it, but it looks fantastic in this size and format. Untitled by Nigel G, on Flickr
