I like old petrol pumps. Especially if they are still in use. Rabat IMG_9785edit by Keith Hudson, on Flickr I don't know if the portable ones used at race sessions interest you: View Attachment This was only late last October at the FIA motorsport games, but I'm still a bit nostalgic for the southern French weather! Your Eni logo also works for me, reminding me of when we tested fuel for the British Super Bikes - I've still got the Uniform with that Logo

The Technical Museum in Vienna had a few early petrol pumps, the insides of which were quite interesting but not many of my photographs from there have made it to Flickr, I should give the Museum its own album really.

I can offer you the competitors fuelling rigs too even though they're just hand pumps from cans flic.kr/p/2nYb1zfSomewhere I have a book with some of the earliest petrol pumps as our company originally came up with the name 'Petrol' (but couldn't get an exclusive on it) In the 1800's it was all delivered in cans, but I found a copy of this one from 1935 on the company intranet: Attachment Deleted

A very public convenience The Roman Empire was not known for its journalistic prowess, so the best way to get your morning news was by way of gossip at the communal latrine trench. Salamis, Cyprus

Zell am See IMG_7418edit by Keith Hudson, on Flickr One of the mountain restaurants we visited in Zell, the one that I did not take a picture of had the urinals set into a mirrored (?) glass wall making you look like you were urinating over the side of the mountain as a chair lift passed by about 10M away. At least I am assuming it was mirrored glass, even the Austrians would not use clear glass, would they ? Any way no photos of that one as there was a queue, taking photos of strangers at the urinal is a little out of my comfort zone.

I was hoping to find a convenience shot that wasn't public, but nope & it took two passes to find anything. I believe the passageway beyond the palm is the entrance to the gents along the clacton sea front. semi-aerochrome small by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr
