I've just re-checked the train options because I was going to investigate using an alternative way, to find that there will now not be any rail replacement buses on the most direct route. Bizarre

Now looking at park and ride, that is a F ing mess due to road closures between Thornhill and the city centre. Help Adrian, where should I park if not Thornhill given that I am driving from London. gray1720OK, turns out the A34 closure is about 10 miles South of Oxford, so shouldn't affect the ring piece, sorry, ring ROAD, too much. Depending on how much you fancy going cross-country, you can do as already suggested, head round the ring road to get to Water Eaton or, and this is probably easiest, take the next junction (9) and head South, come off at Kidlington, and head for Water Eaton from there. |
