Just back from Norway and ..... Oh 14th : Sadly my Brother-In-Law died while I was away and Diane & me have a funeral to attend Monday morning and we are going to Suffolk to be with Family that weekend getting ready for the funeral.

With a few dropping out, before I finalise accommodation (either a hotel in Bicester, or potentially the campsite in Oxford which is closed due to an issue but will update me on Weds)is this still going ahead?

Yes, very sorry to hear that Mark. What a stinking piece of news to come back to.
We've definitely lost Mark, Fen and Lesley. I'm willing to do a small group (Though I may have an evening piss-up to go on to now) - who still thinks they can make/afford it?

I can still make it on the 14th but I am happy to re arrange as I have a visit to Abney Park Cemetery planned for the 21st, I might be in bad books for going walkabouts two Saturdays in a row.
Who is still on the list for the 14th?

As I said previously, I will in Berlin on the 14th for photographing the festival of lights be (does it make sense to anyone else to stick the main verb at the end of the sentence?) so if you are able to rearrange, I stand a better chance of being able to attend, train strikes permitting

That's looking like a "no", isn't it? I think unless we have a rash of people coming out of the woodwork in the next 24 hours we can it and rearrange. Hopefully Fenris will be fully mobile by then, and Ivor E Tower can make it too, amongst others. Suggestions for dates? December is quiet (about the only time there is neither tourists nor students), but its an expensive month already, and sorry day length and risk of bad weather. Spring? |

I think Spring would be a better suggestion. Hopefully better weather at that time of year and perhaps people will be get out more. Sorry for not being able to make it to this meet-up, but it was either have the surgery or wait another 18mths for surgery  |
