First of all I want to add a gripe. When people say something is "____ times less than ____" rather than describe as a fraction.
Second I think there's some plagiary of Tolkein in Spinno's post, which will be thoroughly investigated for three times less than it ought to be.

Yes!! Just a few nights ago I was grumbling at people on the television using this daft construction. Even Mrs peterba was grumbling about this (and she doesn't always agree with my rants).  |
