Minor gripe, unless it's something I've not found, when you get to bottom of a page you have to scroll back to the top for next page, well the hand is actually a "LIKE" button so it's not that On a PC, Edge, Chrome and Firefox all use the [Home] key to go to the top of the page. If it is a shared key on your keyboard (on mine it's [7] on the keypad) then [Shift][Home] does the trick. I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to work out what [Shift][End] does.  Another tip - if you use 'Quick reply' to post, you do not have access to the feature bar (for want of a better term) for font, smilies etc. As soon as you have posted, go straight into 'Edit', and the feature bar is there for you to make any adjustments. |

Wow, that was some party! I'm not sure what was in that roll-up andy gave me and I don't want to know what the stain on the new carpet is.  Seriously, I'm overwhelmed at how many people have joined us here. I had a figure in my head of how many would and we have surpassed that on the first evening. Now it's your turn to do your bit. Forums are only as good as it's members and the content they provide, get posting and let's make our forum a success. |

Sorry Martin, Spellchecker is enabled in my browser, FireFox, but doesn't seem to operate here. I guess that you are very busy so don't spend time on it. I'll somehow sort it miself.

I don't use Firefox, but the spell checker works on MS Edge, Chrome and Chrome on Android. I've hunted for a plug-in spillchucker for ProBoards and looking at the ProBoards help forum the consensus is that the web browser spell checkers are far more effective than the ones previously available, so no-one has bothered trying to produce one. Can anyone using Firefox browser confirm that the spell check is not working and I'll look into it when I have time. . |
