Cool, you do know that you can embed the image not just a link. Press the share arrow as you probably did and select the BBCcode and pick the image size, one of the medium sizes is usual, then copy the link it will generate for you. Copy the link into you forum post and your pic will appear in the post.
Image will be linked to your flickr, be easily seen when scrolling the thread and not take up any more of Martin's server space. Win win situation.
