Any guesses about who had an unscheduled momentary landing on our window? Wingspan c70cm, so my guess is a magpie or other corvid.

View Attachment I've always been amused by the pigeon ones - they are dusty, so make really good splat marks- I've seen a few that just need a speech bubble saying "F***!"

I don't think it is a wood pigeon. Size is right but I think the wing tips on a pigeon are more swept back, not that I can find anything to justify that feeling.

We've had a few pigeon impacts too, but the wing shape is smoother whereas this one is a bit more angular.

2 of the regular sights on many of my walks. The dippers seem to be making a fair racket the noo.
