My fault for cooking something resembling a Christmas dinner, but Julie was watching a Christmas film when I came in from work. That being said, Violent Night on Netflix is quite an enjoyable riff on Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone, and Die Hard, albeit not one to watch with the children/grandchildren. Just watching this with Jasmine as SWMBO is away with work.

BBC Alba. A music program. This being on a music group called the Staves. Three women (harmony vocals, strumming anf tambourine) plus a hired musician who can play. I can only describe it as "wafty angst" - well other than the obvious "crap". I cannot believe they get paid to do that. Possibly young people are more depressive than I suspected.

I saw The Substance the other day starring Demi Moore. A bit of gore, quite silly but a good concept. And Demi gets her kit off.

Susan Calman's A Grand Day Out C4. Susan was seconded to my office for about 6 weeks 23 years ago when she was an IT Solicitor. Nice to see her doing something enjoyable.

The Cure live at Radio 6 (or 2) filmed for the release of their new album. In his 20's Robert Smith looked quite cool with his make up and back combed hair. Now at nearly 70 he looks more like your pissed up granny on a bad hair and make up day.
Sounds good still though.

Saw them in the 1980s as the band which provided the music for and, to a limited extent, was part of a Michael Clark Ballet. Smith looked pretty well like a bozzed up grannie then. Did not really enjoy it. The Cure getting totally lost a couple of times did not help.

Talking of ballet, I'm oft see my first ever one this month, Swan Lake. Finally given in. Will be a bit different though, as it is an all male troupe.
