Here's one from when I was working at the Paul Ricard circuit last year for the FIA motorsports games (not my workstation, but that of Eduardo & Christophe) IMGP7176 by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

It was in the cupboard at work and someone was about to throw it out so I had to rescue it. I was going to use it to keep pens in but then I can't close the lid so it may become a petty cash stash! Good idea. It's almost an antique.

kate this was one of your's I just changed the wording from 'men or women at work' to workstation obviously as part of my inclusivity programme. I'd consider them to be quite different subjects, a workstation being the a fixed place where men/women work (and not needing anyone in the shot) while many people do not work at a fixed place at all... Workstation in my view is more difficult to make interesting than people at work. If your inclusivity was meant to make it men, women at work & places of work I'll add one more showing the first two without the fixed place: Full Spectrum grid by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

Have another pit girl from me.

Would that be at Brands Hatch? I don't think I've ever managed even half decent grid shots there The subject of grid girls & fun reminds me of this one shot in IR BTTC grid in IR by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

Yes it was at Brands, you can see the out of focus fence I was shooting through in the top left corner of the picture.

Having worked on the paint of my dads boats through out my teens, I think attending motorsport is a much preferable form of work. Working on the lower part of the hull was always particularly unpleasant, while admiring grid girls is something that tends not to last long enough... Actually going for a sail on a lovely old yacht like that is generally rather nice but few of us can class it as work.
