Trichrome images

I've been getting interested in the trichrome process of creating colour images from black and white one. I don't yet have all the necessary filters to take RGB versions of the same shot on film so I'm mucking around with digital images. Using colour filter presets in Lightroom I create the red filter, green filter, and blue filter versions of the same image. Stick them into a new blank image in GIMP (photoshop for the skint) as three layers, colourise each to the relevant colour, then use screen mode for layer blending. Hey presto.
