What's your favourite photo you have taken this year? Or, if you can't narrow it down, share a few. Attachment DeletedI know this is a very unassuming photo, but it's satisfying on a visual level, and it's also from my garden. I feel like this year has finally been the year that I've felt the creative urge again.

Attachment DeletedWell, it had to be a butterfly didn't it. I'm attempting to photograph the butterflies native to Wiltshire and I'm at the stage where it's the rare beasts and migrants. I wasn't expecting to capture this Clouded Yellow, but so glad I did.

Uploaded to annoy the judge at the "Abstract" competition last week. He hadn't a clue what "abstract" meant.
Anyway, I like it.

Almost inevitably, Part of the Coma Cluster of galaxies. About 320 million light-years away. And why is it only a thumbnail? Attachment Deleted

Difficult to say as may change my mind but this one came to mind straight away so I guess it must be up there. Becky 2 by Nigel G, on Flickr

I've hardly carried my camera this year due to not wanting to aggravate an injury but out of the ones that made it to web versions I'll go with this.... Attachment Deleted

Attachment DeletedA shot taken locally in May, and apart from the removal of an ugly building in the far distance it is a 'straight from the camera' JPG file. I've used it on an A2 calendar and it's been cropped to 16x9 to use as my current PC desktop

Attachment DeletedToo hard to pick just one but I liked this one which was taken on a foggy evening last week. Unusual for me because it's B&W but it reminded me of my childhood and I thought the nostaligic conversion suited it better than the original colour.
