About the English Labrador: The British Labs are wider, with fuller chests, thick necks, clearly defined forehead stops, and shorter legs. Here I'm more familiar with them being called show labs. Working labs tend to be the smaller ones as they are more nimble on rough ground. Most folk just say they have labs though.

It is nice there, although I've never seen it at this time of year. We walk there from Abbey Mills - we usually stay at the Premiere Inn when visiting my eldest.
