Hipkins comes across well, and has plenty of experience - among other roles he was covid response minister. He is expected to be less kind than Ardern, especially to opposition politicians. What the haters are going to do, now their favourite hatee is gone, I don't know. Ardern is resigning as an MP in March - within 6 months of our next election, which will be on October 14th. They don't have to hold a by election for her seat, then. |
