You might well live longer than me. I suspect that I am a few years older. I think you are. I'm 60 this year.

I will be 91 in ten years and a few days. I'll be 91 in less than 10 MONTHS.
I'm using my rollator (walking aid) more now, "furniture surfing" for support (grabbing surrounding furniture) is frowned upon by the health service here after my last fall. The fact that there are a number of places in the flat where there is not enough space between furniture to allow the rollator. To throw a further spanner into the works a wheel came off the rollator - a thread had stripped - it was only about 14 years old! So had to buy a new one - Amazon - quicker than trying to find a repair place.

Just had my review with the cardiologist consultant. BP fine, ECG fine. I've not had an AF episode since October last year. My HR can be quite low (does go down to 40 at times). Was quite low today, so he has halved my meds, to the lowest dose, and my score on the stroke scale (I forget its name) is still 0, so still not putting me on thinners. Now awaiting an echo on it. So all in all, I am happy. The scale is CHA2DS2 VASC according to Google. It might surprise you that in the 5 years since my cardiac episode I have seen the cardiologist precisely never. I've had my device checked in person twice and I had an ultrasound last year. Clearly they trust me...

Prompted a welcome laugh, Willie.

Mike, if your microwave leaves you you have a country hit right there. As Kenny Rogers sang about the loose wheel leaving him? Close - "You picked a fine time to mend that loose wheel".

Didn't Little Richard start it "Loose wheel, don't you leave your daddy's car"

Ultra Right; he is beyond the political scale. Is that an endorsement, criticism, or neither?
