Had to find the allen keys today. It made me wonder, how does a bolt loosen on an almost never used kitchen chair? Temperature changes? Or what? Spooks.

Do they prefer wobbly chairs? They creak better than solid ones.

Friends of my friend that's now on palliative care reaching out to work together to make the most of a really shitty situation. I dare say one of her pretty blond pals is better placed to try to persuade her favourite football team to make some sort of video message while I deal with the dogs, garden, wheelie bins, deliveries and the occasional Greggs run.

We each got a survey to fill in from our MP Esther McVey yesterday. She got them e mailed back just now. It was fun filling them in, my wife had a whale of a time!

I promise the next Tory Gvt. will be better than the shite you have suffered for the last 14 years which was all the fault of the last labour Gvt. Love [insert name here]

I wonder if it was identical format? We had one, for some reason they think, because I wrote to our previous MP, that I support them. I don't support any political party, give me an independent MP please.

I had someone come round from the housing this morning. He was here to measure the door frame as part of it has split. In passing I mentioned the one thing on the long list of things needing doing was the shower. The hose split so badly it's unusable and I've had a couple of friends look at it and although they were confident that putting a new hose on is easy they couldn't see how to get the old one off
So the guy said he'd have a look then he said I needed pliers (which I don't have one of these days I am going to get a small toolkit) the moments later he said "It's okay I've got it off"
Quick Google revealed there is to my surprise a Screwfix about 20 minutes walk from here! So I went there and 10 minutes later I came out with a replacement hose and a new shower head for £12.98 in total
It took me under 5 minutes to fit it, it's not quite in tight enough so I get some water running out at the connectors (and my mole wrench has seized up) but until I get an adjustable spanner etc I can live with a trickle of clean water that just runs into the bath
That was without doubt the best shower I have ever had in my life!
