 This camera's shutter speed knob is loose, and the wind lever, although it can be moved, isn't winding the shutter - it may already be wound. The top will have to come off, and possibly also the body sleeve, to see if it can be sorted. |

 The top is off the camera - a fiddly procedure. As well as removing the wind lever and rewind knob, the rangefinder front lens, the advance/rewind selector (it unscrews after removing a grub screw) and the diopter adjustment collar around the viewfinder lens have to be removed. The viewfinder lens still projects slightly, even when adjusted right in, and getting the top over it is a pain... I can now see that one of the shutter curtain tapes has come unglued, so the next job is removing the shutter. |
