A gift (I still owe the Guide Dogs a tenner for it - where the hell is a collecting box when you want one?) from eightbittony. Definitely issues with a wonky viewfinder and, sadly, leaky bellows, but these two aren't too bad. No1 Pocket Kodak by gray1720, on Flickr Isn't this the sexiest Kodak logo ever?

But am I going to get pestering emails for evermore? Good question... My wife set up a DD a long time ago and whilst we get mailings (post) from time to time I am not aware that she gets any/many emails. Presumably an opt-out to be ticked?

Thanks Adrian, I've sent them to Kevin's widow and step-daughter (my wife), and they're really grateful.

Dad's No 2 had leaky bellows eventually, fixed it with two or three coats of diluted black acrylic paint. Took a loooong time to dry, but no more leaks.

From Caroline, "Considering the age of the camera to me the pictures are not bad, I am really pleased that it has found a new home."

That's lovely, Tony, thank you for letting me know! I cannot guarantee it will get further use - it depends on whether the bellows get worse or not - but even if it doesn't, I think it's had a decent swansong.
SATD - which paint did you use? I usually paste in layers of umbrella fabric with PVA glue, but that's equally as much a faff.

Liquid electrical tape is another possibility - people use it to "fix" cloth shutter blinds with holes.

It's what they had in Range.
I think two coats of fairly dilute, seemed to soak into the fabric well. No addition of fabric.
On the other hand it stayed quite sticky for a long time, even after a month of leaving it open. Sounded horrible opening up, but I reasoned that since the bellows were leaky anyway, did it matter if they got any worse. Worked a treat.
Considering how simple the lens is, don't they give wonderful results?

Not that I have tried it but 'tyre wall black' paint was one that used to be talked about, a black rubberised paint though I don't know it it is still available, anyway the liquid electrical tape sounds more convenient. I should actually get some liquid electrical tape for the intended purpose, thanks for the reminder.
