Thank flip the weather has given me something to take photos of, because I really thought that this year's cards weren't going to happen. I should have taken the AF lens rather than the MF Tamron 90mm, as it could be a lot sharper, and I should have gardened that manky bud out of the bottom corner, but no-one I send these to will notice, so I'm not doing anything more to it. dorsetmike, you will probably know this, it's a vigorous clump-forming rose that sort of grows in a heap rather than rambling, almost no scent (boo!), but has flowers on somewhere for most of the year. Don't recognise it Adrian, looks "floriferous", mine are down to one bloom on each of 2 plants, no sign of frost as yet.

Bother, you were my best hope! I've no idea what it is, it was in the garden next to our flat and I took a cutting (at risk to life, it's got lots of big bastard thorns) when we moved. It's common, whatever it is, as there's one just up the road from us here.
