My house is the tile roofed place, to the left of the centre of the picture.

That would give PhotoShop 2025's - find distractions - remove power lines. a test. I wonder what it would do with the poles, just leave them with no cables or remove them as well.

It left the poles and insulators but that was an easy fix.

@ John Farrell I or one of the mods can delete the edited files if you like, it was just one of those what if? thoughts that can not be ignored once thought. I will delete them from my laptop either way.

Whenever I see a picture with lots of cables and pylons I imagine what it might look like if I added Godzilla to it. When you can remove things easily with software, where is the challenge and opportunity to be perversely creative?

Where I lived for about 21 years prior to moving into this retirement flat in 2014. The car I bought in the mid 90s when it was over 30 years old, I had it for about 10 years, towed a trailer tent with it to Classic car shows, when the original engine got to thirsty for oil I managed to fit one from an Escort Mexico, improved the performance somewhat, put a straight through exhaust box at the same time, you could hear me coming, (& going), I had also had a blue one back in the 60s, only kept that one for a week then got a good deal on a Corsair. Father worked for the local Ford main dealer - what other brand dare I drive?

The view from an upstairs room of my house one morning this week, taken in weather that was a mix of drizzle and low cloud (we were living in the clouds that day). I have resisted the temptation to 'enhance' it since it accurately shows what I saw.
For most of the year this field is empty of livestock, so we get meadow flowers in the summer and then it is all cut to make hay at the end of August. Then, in October, we have some temporary neighbours when the farmer uses it for the first stage of lamb production for next spring. The ram was looking rather bored (and still wearing his device with its red dye), having already attended to all the ewes.

My current home (and hedge). It is a place to stay. Easy reach of all facilities, shops, medical, dental, buses. Taxis easy to get. I can't say I feel as good here as in my former home, but that was getting too much for me. Such is old age. hedge home by Kate Ferris, on Flickr

My home of 20 years last June 25. I just had all the windows facing the back yard replaced as the wood frames on the 44 year old windows were deteriorating. Its a nice home but too big for us now. We will probably start looking for a one level retirement home in the next few years.
