Another type of birch - looks very like a silver birch - I like the way the leaf-bearing stems just hang off the main boughs, much in the way of willow.

From yesterday. Shelter with thatched roof. Ness  Gardens. I'd think you could seat 8 - 10 in there fairly easily.  We haven't yet had cause to use it as a shelter.
