Just read this, made me chuckle, I've come across a few that would fit this quote, (not confined to the female of the species, quite a few males qualify)
"she could give dumb lessons to fence posts."

Mrs S, now retired, was assisting a former colleague with union stuff. She was roped in on a phone call, and the full time officer was giving it large. At the end of the call I said to her colleague that Queen Victoria used to say that Gladstone addressed her as if she were a public meeting...

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken: Makes me smile I think it was Bart who said. "It was like that when I got here"
(Remembered from watching the Simpsons when the kids were small 15+ years ago)

Comment attached to a photo supposedly of Mick Jagger with his girlfriend (on FB).
Mick Jagger, 80, lives in a happy villa with his girlfriend Mel Hamrick, 37, after giving birth to their eighth child.
Always thought he was brilliant, but giving birth? Wow!

Wasn't it Joan Rivers who described Mick Jagger as having child-bearing lips?

I always liked the comment allegedly made by General Patton about the 'denazification' process put in place in German after its surrender in 1945. However, he may have been quoting Theodore Roosevelt.
'When you have then by the balls their hearts and minds will follow'.
Sadly, more recent US military and political leaders have not understood that Germany in 1945 was a very different case to the various countries and regimes that the USA have fought in or against since then.

Maybe because the US routinely fights alongside/backs other fascists?
