This has taken over a couple of clumps of moss in my greenhouse recently, best guess is that it's a slime mould, but hopefully one of you will know! It's a firm gelatinous mass with a damp surface, though that may just be condensation. Weird gooey thing on moss by gray1720, on Flickr

Not one I recognise. Algae perhaps?
The slime mould group members on FB are usually very helpful...including Barry Webb who took all those fantastic images in Steven's link.

The slime mould group on FB never got back to me, but as it's still there looking much the same it's obviously not a slime mould. Fuctifino what it is.
