That was my thought for a subject too but I couldn't find any photos.

About the nearest I have available is this shot of part of a mass spectrometer

I intended to shoot a fish on the kitchen scales but have left it too late!

This is one of the themes that I wondered what the person who suggested it had in mind, it looks like I will have to keep wondering.

I did look at all my files from Beamish, convinced that there must be at least one set of scales in one of the shops but nothing.
