I seem to remember going out with the camera once before for a theme on reflections (several photos dated 13-09-2023) and I went down to the canal. This wasn't used then - I've only just processed it. An old basin/dock has been redeveloped so what was warehouses is now all flats. DSCF0789.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I did a different edit last night on this old favourite. I usually post a head and shoulders crop emphasising the whites of his eyes. It was very muddy. Goodness knows how they stay on. This was halfway through a fairly abrupt 150 degree or so bend coming off a tarmac path and uphill onto soft grass. BV9R0359-Enhanced-NR.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Grain. We must have had this topic before because I found 3 pictures in Flickr with keyword grain and all taken at Chirk Castle on December 18th 2023. I can't otherwise see why I would have otherwise taken the first two - the third - maybe. I put it through denoise and cropped out the worst of the out-of-focus areas. Handheld at 0.8 second at ISO 3200. It were dark in there. Decorative grain DSCF6700-Enhanced-NR.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
