Tall ships (square rigged, not yachts) Biplanes Tankers (road, rail or sea - or separate road Sept, rail Oct, sea Nov)
Scales (Weighing not fish) Reflections
Cliffs Domestic fireplaces Baskets Kitchen utensils Small Lights//lamps - e.g. table, bedside, anglepoise
Seaside piers Rose bushes in flower (complete plants not just the flowers)
Some really great options there! I always like seeing very different interpretation on subjects so would prefer to avoid the exclusions above, instead having them as options. A few more possible additions: Treasured Everyday Optical effects Mud Otherworldly Not my taste! Old Awkward

We have a good range of suggestions for September with some left over for October by the look of it.
If I can be trusted to not be too childish, I will sort out September's daily themes this evening.

My thoughts on the options (e.g. Square rigged not yachts) would give us options for subsequent months. I can imagine us getting to a time when we've exhausted all possible subjects

"I can imagine us getting to a time when we've exhausted all possible subjects" - To an extent that boat sailed long ago.
When setting a month of themes I do try to do a few with particular forum members in mind, either because I know what pictures they favour or have access to or because I am trying to push boundaries though that tends to be the monthly theme. As I quipped earlier in the thread specific places though interesting can be somewhat limiting to the majority of the forum.
